A sample can look different in daylight and artificial light. View it in its intended position at several times of day.
Set the large surfaces first
Start with floors, walls and large furniture, then add smaller accents. Contrast and texture can provide depth without many colours.
Leave room to change
Try uncertain colours in textiles or small furniture before committing to surfaces that are harder to replace.
